Strap Zone guide
Compatible Bluetooth heart-rate monitors
Strap Zone works with monitors that broadcast the standard Bluetooth Low Energy Heart Rate service.
Look for standard BLE heart rate
Compatibility depends on the signal the device broadcasts, not only its brand. Product documentation may call it Bluetooth Low Energy, BLE Heart Rate, Heart Rate Profile or heart-rate broadcast.
Common compatible families include chest straps from Polar, Garmin, Wahoo, COOSPO, Magene and similar makers. Exact support can vary by model and firmware.
Chest straps, arm monitors and watches
Chest and arm sensors often broadcast as soon as they are worn or activated. A watch must offer a separate broadcast mode; simply showing heart rate on the watch does not make it discoverable by the phone.
Strap Zone does not require an ANT+ receiver and does not connect through a manufacturer cloud account. The phone reads the live Bluetooth signal directly.
If a monitor is not found
Moisten the chest-strap electrodes, confirm the battery is charged, grant Bluetooth permission and close other apps that may hold the connection. Then start a fresh scan in Strap Zone.
If the device still does not appear, verify that it can broadcast the standard BLE Heart Rate service rather than only syncing through a proprietary app.
