Strap Zone guide
Zone 2 training with a Bluetooth heart-rate monitor
See Zone 2 live and use optional cues to stay in range — with a chest strap and phone, no smartwatch required.
Make the zone personal
Heart-rate zones are only useful when their boundaries match the plan you are following. Strap Zone can derive five zones from your maximum heart rate, or you can replace every boundary with custom BPM values.
The app displays the zone you configured; it does not diagnose thresholds or prescribe training. Use ranges from a coach or a plan that fits your health and experience.
Stay in range without staring at the screen
Pair a compatible Bluetooth monitor, choose a target zone and start the session. Live BPM and the active zone remain visible while optional voice, tone and vibration cues can tell you when effort moves outside the target.
For a structured session, build timed blocks and repeats before you start. For an open session, use the same live display with an optional target.
Keep a useful record
After the workout, review duration and time in each zone. Optional GPS can add route, distance and pace when enabled, and a completed workout can be shared or exported as TCX.
Strap Zone requires no account. Workout data stays on the device unless you choose a file or system-health export.
